  • #1 - Neyow's

Chicken and Sausage gumbo with a good smell coming to the table and a good taste that has a hint of file in it.

  • #2 Landry's Seafood House

This seafood gumbo has shrimp and crab with a mild Creole seasoning that leaves you wanting more. Adding file could have enhanced the flavor profile for a bolder taste, but overall it’s still good.

  • #100 Melbas

This was the worst gumbo I’ve ever tasted. It didn’t taste like gumbo at all, and to make it worse, they included fried chicken in what was supposed to be chicken and sausage gumbo, which had an odd, lemony flavor. Disappointing on all fronts.
